On Thursday 27th September, Year 3 visited Magna Science Adventure Centre. The children explored the Air, Water and Fire zones, thinking about how each of the areas impacted upon life on Earth. They were able to link this learning to the 'Tremors' topic, in which they are learning all about Natural Disasters.
The children also took part in a workshop about volcanoes. They worked in small groups to complete a science experiment which involved making a model of a volcano and seeing how the landscape around it changes over time and after each eruption. The children had a fantastic day exploring and have brought lots of new learning back to the classroom.
